Temperature sensors, type MBT 5430

For monitoring and controlling temperatures of foodstuff

  • For monitoring temperatures in foodstuffs such as meat or fruit during shipment in refrigeration ships etc.
  • Also available with vulcanised sensor for measuring and regulating bulk goods and liquid temperatures (see MBT 5450)
  • Pt100 resistance element
  • Up to 70° C media temperatures
  • Available with all relevant marine approvals

The MBT 5430 temperature sensor can be used for monitoring and controlling temperatures of foodstuff in freight containers, cargo rooms or freezing installations within general industry and marine applications. Because the MBT 5430 is made from vulcanised rubber it can be submerged into liquids.

This temperature sensor is based on a standardized Pt100 element, which gives a reliable and accurate measurement.

If needed the sensor can be delivered with a housing at the end of the cable. The housing can be with or without a built-in transmitter (see MBT 9110).
